Hola is made by Digital Swap LLC in Lodi, New Jersey — a few blocks from the restaurants, laundromats, and salons it was built for.
Why we built it
The math on a small business phone is brutal. A restaurant misses a quarter of its calls during service. A salon that answers on the fourth ring loses the booking to the shop that answered on the first. Nobody is doing anything wrong — there is one person, and they are already holding a tray.
We spent a year building software for businesses like these and kept hearing the same thing: not “get me more customers,” but “I can’t answer the ones I have.” Voicemail didn’t fix it — people who reach voicemail call the next place on the list. A phone tree didn’t fix it either; it just made the wait official.
So we built Hola: an employee that picks up on the first ring, every time, in English or Spanish, and knows your hours, your prices, your menu, and when to put a real person on the line. It works the shifts nobody wants, and it writes down everything it hears.
We are a small team. We answer our own phone — (855) 747-0022 — and if you call it, you’ll hear Hola first.
What we hold to
It says what it knows, and nothing else
Hola answers from what you told it. When it doesn’t know your holiday hours or whether you’ll waive a fee, it says so and gets you — it does not invent an answer that costs you a customer.
Spanish is not an add-on
Half the calls on the blocks we started in come in Spanish. Hola is built to answer in the language the caller uses, from the first word, without a menu that sends them to a queue nobody staffs.
The owner sees everything
Every call is recorded, transcribed, and summarized, and every one of them is in your dashboard. No black box, no monthly report you have to request — you can read exactly what was said in your name.
Priced like a tool, not a headcount
Flat monthly, month to month, no setup fee. A small business should be able to try this on a Tuesday and cancel on a Friday without a phone call to a salesperson.
