How to opt in

There are two ways to start receiving texts from Hola. Both show you this disclosure before any other message is sent, and Hola keeps a record of your consent.

1. Text a Hola number

Your first text receives this confirmation before any reply: “Hola: Thank you for opting in to Hola SMS. Msg freq may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy: hola.id/privacy”

2. Ask Hola on a call

When you ask Hola, during a phone call, to text you something (an address, a link, a quote, an appointment confirmation), Hola asks first:

“I can text that to you. By saying yes, you agree to receive text messages from Hola at this number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Do you agree?”

Only after you say yes does Hola send this confirmation, and then the information you asked for: “Hola: You have agreed to receive SMS from Hola. Msg freq may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy: hola.id/privacy”

Who sends the messages

Hola is the sender of every message in this program. Every text is sent from a Hola-owned number and begins with “Hola:”. Hola is operated by Digital Swap LLC. No message is sent on behalf of, or identifies, any other business as the sender.

What messages you will receive

• Replies to what you texted. Answers to a question you sent to a Hola number.
• Information you asked for on a call. An address, a link, a quote, or an appointment confirmation, sent once you agreed to receive it.
• Appointment reminders. A reminder before an appointment you booked through Hola.

No marketing or promotional messages are sent under this program. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of using Hola or of buying anything.

Sample message: “Hola: Your appointment is confirmed for Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only in response to something you asked for, typically 1 to 3 messages per conversation.

Message and data rates

Hola does not charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any Hola message. You will receive one final text confirming you are unsubscribed: “Hola: You are unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.” After that, nothing further is sent. END, QUIT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE work the same way. Reply START to opt in again.
